L.V.R.R. Tracks Damaged By Rock
A large rock tumbled down on the tracks of the Ligonier Valley R. R. at Longbridge last Thursday shortly after noon. The work of removing the rock was begun immediately and trains were running Friday as usual. The afternoon and evening trains on Thursday could not run on account of the rock which was estimated to weight 300 tons. Two double charges of dynamite in holes 14 feet in length were required to break the rock. Following the blast the work of clearing the tracks was quickly finished.
