New Schedule Of Trains In Effect July 1
A new railroad schedule goes into effect on the Ligonier Valley railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad on Sunday, July 1, 1917. There will be considerable change of time, especially of the morning train which now leaves Ligonier at 7:45 but on and after July 1 will leave at 6:52 in the morning, arriving at Latrobe at 7:22 which will enable people to take train at Latrobe at 7:29 and arrive in Pittsburgh at 9:00. The afternoon trains leave Ligonier at 1:15 and 4:30 and arrive at Latrobe at 1:45 and 5:00. Trains from Latrobe to Ligonier Morning train leaves Latrobe at 9:20, arrives at Ligonier at 9:50; afternoon trains leave Latrobe at 2:25 and 6:29 and arrive at Ligonier at 2:55 and 6:59.
Sunday trains leave Ligonier at 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; arrive at Latrobe at 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; returning leave Latrobe at 9:20 a.m. and 6:47 p.m., arriving at Ligonier at 9:50 a.m. and 7:17 p.m.
On the Mill Creek Branch only the afternoon train will be run and will leave Ligonier at 3:05, get to Wilpen at 3:17 and on return trip will leave Wilpen at 3:22 and arrive at
Ligonier station at 3:34.
New schedules have been printed for the L.V.R.R. Co. which can be secured by asking for them at the ticket office.
