John F. Stader's Auto Hit By R. R. Engine
John F. Stader, undertaker of Latrobe, and his son John, Jr., and a colored boy, all in Mr. Stader's automobile while passing over the grade crossing of the L.V.R.R. on Depot street, Latrobe, were seriously hurt Saturday afternoon, the machine being struck by a moving P.R.R. engine with a caboose attached. The auto was struck and badly smashed and all the occupants injured John F. Stader, left leg and shoulder painfully injured; John Stader, Jr., back hurt and legs and arms cut and bruised; William Harrington, a colored boy employed by Mr. Stader, bad cut on leg and face and head cut.
