Ligonier Well Pleased With Train Service
The Ligonier Valley will make no change in its train schedule when the new time table becomes effective on the Pennsylvania Railroad, next Sunday. The patrons of the road, especially the residents of Ligonier, are said to be highly satisfied with the present arrangement by which the morning train leaves there at 7:45, instead of nearly an hour earlier as it once did. The new local train, west bound, to be put on by the Pennsy and which will stop at Latrobe, at 8:31, will provide the Valleyites with new conveniences, in case they may be desirous of traveling to points at which the faster train, leaving here at 8:30 each morning, does not stop. Ligonier people may now leave home at 7:45 and be in Pittsburgh at 9:35, in the morning making the trip in an hour and fifty minutes, including the change of cars in Latrobe.
