New Time Table Will Mean New Conveniences for Latrobe

The new train schedule which will give Latrobe two new west-bound trains and a new east-bound train will go into effect, tomorrow. The schedule will represent one of the most marked advances for Latrobe, in the way of train service, in many years, including as it will, the acquisition of three new trains, all fast one, and all important ones.

Perhaps of primary importance will be the stopping here, each morning, of train No. 637, west-bound, at 8:30 a.m. This train will carry Latrobers to Greensburg in 14 minutes, and to Pittsburgh in an hour and five minutes, as it is due to reach the latter city at 9:35.

Of great importance, also, will be the stopping here of No. 606, the fast east-bound train which now goes thru here a flying, about one oclock, and which Latrobers have been wont to catch at Blairsville Intersection. It will stop here regularly at 1:06 p.m. This train will leave Pittsburgh at 12:01 and Greensburg at 12:51, so that it will be a convenient train for those coming as well as going.

The third new train, No. 61, west-bound, will find most favor, probably, with those from Greensburg and other points west who may be spending the evening in Latrobe. Stopping here at 11:09, and reaching Greensburg at 11:24, and Pittsburgh at 12:15, it will be a find train for visitors to the town, enabling them to prolong their stays beyond the time of Fast Line west, and yet avoiding the long wait for No. 33 which will stop here at 1:04 a.m., under the new schedule.

New pocket-size copies of the time table, designed for the special convenience of Latrobe residents, have been gotten out by the First National Bank and the Bulletin.

The L. V. R. R. will put a new schedule into effect tomorrow, by which trains will arrive from Ligonier daily at 8:15, 1:45 and 5:00 and will depart at 9:20, 2:25 and 6:19, - the afternoon train being omitted on Sundays.

This new schedule will means that Ligonier and Somerset folks may sleep nearly an hour longer in the mornings.
