Special Trains From Pittsburgh For Big Ligonier Valley Fair

Some class to Ligonier's Valley Fair, when the Pennsy starts to running special trains, clear from Pittsburgh to the fair grounds, eh!

The company announced, today, that arrangements had been made to run a special train, both on Thursday and on Friday, from Union Station to Morningside Farm.

The train will run ahead of No. 8 in the morning stopping at the various stations along the main line, and reaching Latrobe at 9:09 a.m. From here it will run to Ligonier without stop. The train will lie over until 5:10 p.m., at which time it will leave the fair grounds, for Pittsburgh, making the same stops as in the morning.

Because of this train leaving Latrobe at 9:09, the regular morning L.V.R.R. train, due to leave at 9:20, will not leave Latrobe until 9:30. It will make the usual stops along the line.

Exactly the same program will be followed on Friday, the special running ahead of No. 8, leaving here for the fair grounds at 9:09 a.m., and the L.V.R.R. regular train not departing until 9:30 a.m.

The news from the fair grounds tells of fine prospects for a big fair. The grounds were thrown open today, and visitors are finding everything in first-class shape, with many exhibits in all department.
