To Build A Rectangular "Roundhouse"

The Ligonier Valley Railroad has had plans prepared for a new "roundhouse," to be built near the station, in Ligonier. The new structure is to be a "roundhouse" only in name, as there is to be nothing round about it. It is to be a building 240 feet in length, and capable of housing the company's seven engines, the passenger coaches, and other equipment. It also is to provide accommodations for the repair shops, the plan being to centralize the departments now scattered around through a number of small buildings, under a single roof. The work on the new building is to be undertaken within a few days.
