More Damage Suits Against L.V.R.R.
Two more suits, growing out of the Wilpen branch wreck, were instituted against the Ligonier Valley Railroad Company, yesterday.
C. A. Hamill, the plaintiff in one of the suits, asks $50,000 damages for the injuries which he received in the disaster.
Miss Bessie Hoon is the other complainant. Through her father, Edward Hoon, she has begun suit for $10,000, the action being based upon the injuries which she suffered while a passenger in the ill-fated coach through which a heavy coal train ploughed its way.
T. M. and R. P. Marshall, the Pittsburgh attorneys, together with H. E. Cope, of
Pittsburgh, are the attorneys in the two cases.
