More Suits Against L.V.R.R. Settled
Two more damage suits instituted against the L.V.R.R. following the Wilpen wreck, have been settled out of court.
One was the suit of Mrs. Ankney, widow of the late John Ankney, one of the engineers killed in the wreck.
The other was in the case of Miss Alice Rittenour, who had sued to recover for injuries sustained.
In both these suits, the witnesses had been subpoenaed, but settlements were reached out of court. It has not been learned upon what terms the settlements were made.
The suit of Dr. J. B. Johnston against the company has been continued.
