No Change at Idlewild
For some time past reports have been heard to the effect that Idlewild was to be modernized, and that various amusement features, such as shoot-the-chutes, roller coasters and so on, were to be installed, by next year.
Superintendent W. V. Hyland, of the L.V.R.R., was asked about these reports when he was in town this morning. He said that there was nothing to them, and that the policy of the company in keeping Idlewild in as nearly a natural state as possible would be enforced. The natural beauty of the park and the fact that it is so different from other picnic grounds, are what make Idlewild so attractive, he declared.
