Editors Were Given a Big Time Yesterday
The members of the Westmoreland County Press Association, made up of the editors and proprietors of weekly papers, had a grand time, upon the occasion of their annual outing, held yesterday. So did their wives and their friends, who were along with them. It was largely due to the splendid manner in which Mr. Hyland, the general superintendent of the L.V.R.R., played host that the occasion was made so enjoyable. Editor Graham, of Ligonier, met the members here and escorted them to Ligonier where Mr. Hyland took them in charge. He hauled them over the road in a special car, to Fort Palmer; then back to the Ligonier Springs Hotel where a sumptuous turkey dinner was served them. The afternoon was spent at Idlewild. Everybody present was enthusiastic over the day, and hearty thanks were conveyed to Mr. and Mrs. Hyland, and also to Mr. Graham.
