New Train Schedule to Become Effective Sunday
The new schedule which is to become effective on the L.V.R.R., on Sunday next,
shows a number of changes.
The morning train will arrive and leave Latrobe, as now, the time of arrival being 7:30 and the time of departure being 9:20. The afternoon train, however, will arrive 15 minutes later, or at 1:45, and will leave 15 minutes earlier than at present, or at 2:25 instead of 2:40. The evening train will arrive as at present, to wit: 5:00 o'clock, but will be four minutes later leaving, its new time being 6:19 instead of 6:15.
On Sunday, there will be two new trains put on the L.V.R.R., one in the afternoon, and one at night.
The Sunday time of arrival will be 8:25 a.m.; 1:45, 5:00 and 9:00 p.m.
On Sunday the trains will leave Latrobe for Ligonier, as follows: 9:20 a.m.; 2:10, 6:19 and 10:00 p.m.
There will also be big changes on the Whitney Branch commencing on Monday, the train going back to its old running time, leaving here at 12:37 and getting back at 1:48 p.m.
The Bulletin already has published the changes which will become effective upon the main line, commencing at noon, on Sunday.
New Alexandria will have two Sunday trains each way when the new schedule goes into effect.
The morning train will leave Greensburg at 6:20 o'clock and will arrive in New
Alexandria at 7:23. The evening train will leave Donohoe at 5:30 and will arrive in New Alexandria at 6:37 o'clock.
Returning, the train will leave New Alexandria at 7:37 o'clock, arriving in Greensburg at 8:32 o'clock in the morning and the evening train will leave New Alexandria at 6:47 o'clock and will arrive in Greensburg at 7:45 o'clock Sunday evening.
