Does Injured
An injured doe on the tracks near Darlington held up the Ligonier Valley gasoline coach, en route to Latrobe, for a short time, about 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.
The motorman saw the deer and had to stop the coach to avoid hitting it. The right hind leg of the doe was evidently broken, and the animal was dragging itself along slowly.
Game Protector Ray McKissick was notified. The doe was so badly injured that it had to be shot.
The carcass of the doe was given to the Latrobe Salvation Army.
