Big Day On The Ligonier Valley Yesterday
One hundred and twenty-five car loads of coal and stone and lumber were brought over the Ligonier Valley Railroad, yesterday, the amount of business done having been a record-breaker.
the unusual amount of freight hauled was due to the fact that no freight could be handled the day before, because of the Valley picnic. The coal mined and the stone quarried and the lumber cut on that day, accumulated for yesterday, and two days' business was done in one. The company began hauling the freight at five o'clock, yesterday morning.
