Council Special Meeting
Orders Application to Court for Injunction vs. L.V.R.R. Co.
Council met in special meeting in council chamber Monday evening, October 28, 1907. Members present J. F. Menoher, Wm. Mackey, G.R. Griffith, E. W. Lowry, J. E. Burd and E. B. Shaffer. J. F. Menoher, president of council, stated the object of the meeting to be the consideration of the Depot street controversy between council and L.V.R.R. Co., to place building on the said Depot street as laid out in the plan of Ligonier borough.
Motion by E. W. Lowry that council petition court for an injunction restraining the L.V.R.R. Co. from moving their freight station across Depot street and placing station on or within the limits of said Depot street as plotted in the plan of Ligonier borough.
Motion seconded by Wm Mackey. Motion carried unanimously. On motion adjourned.
