Small Wreck
A small freight wreck occurred last Thursday afternoon on the P. W. & S. railroad. When the passenger train was coming over from Somerset it took on two freight cars at Allendale and coming around a sharp curve over the embankment across the South Penn cut the freight cars by some means jumped the track and breaking loose from the passenger coach went over the embankment. One car was loaded with baled hay and the other with empty beer kegs. The latter being a refrigerator car belonging to the Latrobe Brewing Co. was badly smashed but the other was not much injured and was gotten on the track and reloaded the next day. No one was hurt.
