Valuable Farm Sold
Coal Interests Secure Another Ligonier Valley Farm And Coal
One of the valuable farms of Ligonier township was sold last Saturday by Henry Kuhns to Seger Bros. The Farm lies adjoining the Wilpen works of the Shenango Furnace Co. and is mostly underlaid with the Pittsburgh vein of coal. Mr. Kuhns about a year ago sold the coal to Seger Bros. And now he has sold them the surface. In the meantime he sold off several lots so that he received for his farm about $20,000 in all. This will give the purchasers ample opportunity to develop the coal field now owned by them and where they have been having built a number of coke ovens.
