Some Ligonier Improvements - (Excerpts)
Within the last year the P. W. & S. railroad has been completed to Somerset, a new and modern station built at Somerset terminus and regular passenger and freight trains are running. Last week work was commenced in making a switch connection with the B&O at Somerset.

The extension to the L.V.R.R. out to Wilpen has been completed and the following
plants will be connected: Shenango Furnace Co. works, Seger Bros. and the
Connellsville-Marietta works on the old Pollock farm.
