Pushing The Work
The Pittsburg, Westmoreland & Somerset Railroad On To Somerset
The work on the P. W. & S. railroad is being pushed rapidly along to connect Ligonier with Somerset. The hundred men are at work on the mountain grading and doing other work. H. F. Stark, of Greensburg, has been given the contract for carting and removing the ground from the excavations and the work is going forward rapidly. We expect in a few months to be able to go by railroad direct across the mountain to the Somerset county seat.
