New Officers Elected
Stockholders Of The Colonial Coal & Coke Co. Annual Meeting
At the annual meeting of the Colonial Coal & Coke Company stockholders held at
Pittsburgh Saturday, February 25, the following directors were elected for the ensuing year:
Samuel Garrison, A. H. Schewe, W. G. Cronkright, G. W. McClure, O. E. Hallam, Charles Reif, Jr., Abraham Rasner, B. H. Schewe, Robert H. Cochrane, Louise Knabe, Jos. R. McQuaide.
A report of the progress and financial standing of the company was submitted, which seemed satisfactory to all present, and very encouraging for the future success of the company. The first meeting of the board of directors was held at the offices of the
company Feb. 27, the following officers being elected for the ensuing year:
Samuel Garrison, president; Abraham Rasner, vice president; A. H. Schewe, treasurer; B. H. Schewe, secretary; W. G. Cronkright, manager.
A movement is how on foot to build company houses and a company store and to
increase the output of the coke ovens at Ligonier, the product of which is meeting with excellent favor everywhere that it is being marketed.
