Plunged Into Landslide
A disastrous wreck was narrowly averted on the Ligonier Valley rail road Wednesday morning when Engineer Thomas Dunlap who was in charge of the morning passenger train brought it to a sudden stop just as the engine had ploughed into a big landslide. The slide covered the track for a distance of 50 feet with tons of rock and earth.
