For Latrobe
Pennsy Will Build Fine New Station
Plans are being prepared for a new brick passenger station with a 12 foot passenger subway for Latrobe by the chief engineer's office of the Pennsylvania railroad at Philadelphia. The station will cost about $20,000 and the subway about the same amount.
The present passenger station at Latrobe has been vacated and passengers are now using a temporary structure on the south side of the main tracks. The new building will be on the north side and will face the new railroad street. The new station will be built in accordance with the large improvements being made on the Pittsburgh division near Latrobe.
