Six new passenger coaches and four locomotives will be delivered to the Ligonier Valley Railroad soon. The equipment was ordered early last fall, and will be put into regular service immediately upon delivery. Passenger service on the Ligonier Valley has shown a decide [sic decided] increase during the past year owing to the opening of a number of new towns along the line. The company is preparing for the summer excursion travel, and as soon as the new cars are received the old ones will be sent to the shops for repairs.
