A Day at Idlewild
The Butler Street M. E. Sunday School Having a Good Time
The members and friends of the Sunday school of the Butler Street M. E. church, Lawrenceville, are spending the day at Idlewild, about 50 miles distant on the Pennsylvania railroad. About 8 o'clock this morning the teachers and students to the number of 600 people assembled in the lecture room of the church, and headed by a band marched to the Thirty-third street station, where a train of 10 coaches was held in readiness to transport them to their destination. The merry party is in the care of Alderman A. H. Leslie, George Garrison and Samuel Hay, the committee on arrangements. The grove was found to be in a splendid condition and the merry picnickers enjoyed the festivities to the fullest extent.
