The Siding Surveyed

Several weeks ago an item was published in these columns saying that Mr. Jas. Peters had asked the Pennsylvania Railroad Company to put a siding in for him, to extend from the main line of the P.R.R. to the Loyalhanna Paper Mills. Friday last the engineers of the P.R.R. were here and located the siding. From what we can learn what is known as Bakers siding will be continued eastward until it passes the Clifford House when it will curve north through the Company's ground back of the telegraph tower until it strikes Alexander (sic) street, down which it will continue until the paper mills are reaches. This siding will no doubt be built and will be a great saving to Mr. Peters.
