Trouble On The Train
One day last week Charlie Kuhn, conductor on the L.V.R.R., had a little trouble with one of the Blue Rock quarrymen. The fellow was drunk and got in the train and before he had been there a great while, emptied the contents of his stomach on one of the seats. When the train reached his stopping place he would not get off and Charlie accordingly "fired him out" using no more force than necessary. In resisting, the fellow hurt his leg and claimed that he could not work for two days. He brought suit against the conductor before Esquire Bear. Although Charlie had a clear case, in order to save annoyance, he paid the costs and the sum of three dollars for the two days lost.
