Bursted Finger
Charlie Naugle, of Latrobe, is one of the men engaged at the Ligonier Valley railroad transfer, where the bodies of P.R.R. cars are put on narrow gauge trucks, and vice versa. Yesterday morning, while transferring a car, the little finger of his left hand was caught between one of the transfer timbers and the body of the car, which resulted in the finger being crushed and burst open its entire length. Fortunately the bone was not injured, and with proper care the finger can be saved. Dr. Donnelly dressed the wound.
