Washout on the L.V.R.R.
No trains have passed over the Ligonier Valley Railroad since Saturday evening last. The delay is caused by a washout. The heavy rains on Saturday night raised all the streams in this vicinity to a great height, and the force of the current in the run just this side of Ligonier was so great as to wash the pier and part of the abutment from under the bridge of the L.V.R.R. which crosses the stream at that place. Owing to the continued high water, it was impossible to make the necessary repairs. A train from Ligonier is expected over on this Tuesday evening.
