The Ligonier Valley Railroad, leading from Latrobe, on the Pennsylvania Railroad, to Ligonier, a distance of 10 3/4 miles, was on Friday of last week, put in shape for completion. A sufficient amount of stock was transferred by the officers of the road to Judge Mellon, of Pittsburgh, to justify the Judge in entering into articles for the completion of the road in six months from September first. He is to finish the grading, put on the superstructure and rolling stock, and operate it for the stockholders, and also to share in the earnings, as a stockholder, to the extent of four-fifths. The following are the officers of the road: President, Harvey Baker; Directors, Robert Graham, W. H. Covode, W. A. Bear, A. A. Johnson, W. D. McGowen, Jacob Brennier, N. M. Marker. The citizens of Ligonier will rejoice at the near approach of civilization.
